Fujairah to host inaugural International Adventure Tourism Conference on 30th April

FUJAIRAH, 23rd April, 2025 (WAM) - Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the First Fujairah International Adventure Tourism Conference will take place from April 30th to May 2nd.
Organised by the Fujairah Adventure Centre, the event will be held with the participation of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation, marking a significant step in positioning the emirate as a global hub for adventure tourism and sustainable ecotourism.
Amr Zein Eddin, Director of the Fujairah Adventure Centre and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, told the media today that the event comes in line with the strategy of the Emirate of Fujairah, led by H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and supported by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, to enhance the emirate's position on the global tourism map by showcasing its natural potential and unique elements in the field of adventure tourism.
He pointed out that the conference constitutes a global platform for opening new horizons for international cooperation in this vital sector, contributing to supporting the growth of the local economy and creating promising investment and tourism opportunities that enhance sustainable development in the emirate.
This landmark event underscores the Fujairah government's dedication to promoting the emirate as a leading destination for nature and adventure experiences while fostering responsible tourism practices.
